Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. On the bright side, our room had built-in Bluetooth speakers, a lovely living area and kitchen, and a comfortable bed. However, the constant noise from the front door kept us up all night.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room was bright, clean, and spacious with a comfy bed and plenty of wardrobe space. The staff made our short stay in Edinburgh a delight, offering great tourist advice and surprising me with a bottle of prosecco for my birthday. The location was perfect for my needs, close to business appointments and within walking distance of bars and restaurants. The dining experience was excellent with delicious eggs benedict and a lovely atmosphere. Overall, a great value for money.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spotless clean and very comfortable on the top of the building, which offered great views but might not be ideal for those with mobility issues. The service was top-notch; the staff at The Rutland, Kyloe, and The Huxley were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, within walking distance of all the major attractions in Edinburgh. The dining experience was delicious and fulfilling, especially the veggie breakfast and freshly made sandwiches. Overall, a fantastic place to stay!
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were spacious but in need of some redecoration. The lingering food smell was a bit off-putting, though I did inform the reception. The staff was accommodating and extremely pleasant, making us feel welcome and comfortable. The location was excellent, allowing us to easily walk to popular attractions like the castle and Princes Street. The dining experience had good quality but small portion sizes. The hotel offers a good selection of food and drinks included in the room rate.
The hotel offers a beautiful view of the Castle from the large rooms with super comfy beds. The in-house steakhouse adds to the charm, but some noise concerns detract slightly from the overall experience.

The service was top-notch, with the staff being extremely helpful and accommodating. The location was ideal, close to Edinburgh Castle, Mile Street, and perfect for shopping and sightseeing. The dining experience was great, although the service was a bit hasty at times. Overall, a wonderful stay with great value for money.
